Become a part of the award-winning Zillow.com design team and help create, define, and design the best online real estate site ever. In this role, you’ll design user interaction models, user flows, and information architecture based on user-centered design principles. Projects will include mostly abstract design work such as wireframes, user flows and IA; and some amount of concrete design work such as layout, icons and GUI. You’re expected to speak up and be a true evangelist for user experience and come up with designs that meet both user and business goals.
• Ability to identify and solve design problems while respecting brand principles in interactive formats
• Ability to adapt to changes gracefully (“Love what you do but know when to let go”)
• Must have experience working on Web product design or desktop software design
• Must have understanding and experience of designing and building Web standard compliant pages
In-depth knowledge of the following Web technologies is required:
• PhotoShop, HTML, CSS, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• At least 3-5 years experience with an emphasis in information architecture
• Illustration and Flash skills a plus but not required
• Relevant BA or BS required, with a hella strong background in design
