Director, Sales Strategy & Operations Zillow is currently hiring for a Director, Sales Strategy & Operations. This key person is responsible for business operations and new business development for Zillow’s Inside Sales & Self Service channels. Reports to VP, Sales and is located in Seattle, WA. Core responsibilities: · New Business/Product Development including: Incubating new lines of business such as the development of opportunity models; business requirements (which allow the engineering teams to develop technical requirements); Go-to-market strategies · Management of a number of these new businesses (including the staff) · Process Management & Execution including: Managing the teams responsible for post sale customer service and order operation, developing the business requirements and working with the engineering teams for our ad systems · Business owner of Sales Analysis: Development of business forecasts; reporting & dashboard Preferred background and experience include: · BA required; MBA preferred · 8+ years business experience working in a decisive, data-driven and entrepreneurial business environment · Internet advertising expertise is a must and e-commerce experience is a plus. · Strong ability to analyze business through financial modeling and making impactful ROI decisions · Excellent interpersonal skills and cross-functional capabilities must shine · Experience partnering successfully with engineering and sales teams to get stuff done · Proven experience in building and leading a team in a revenue driven environment
